This year's Intergeo, the world's leading trade exhibition for geodesy, geoinformation and land management, took place in Stuttgart from September 17-19. We from SOMAG AG Jena were represented together with Diamond Aircraft Industries and TopoFlight Systems at a booth.
Our representatives Sales Manager Sören Lieske, Design Engineer Lukas Graf and Marketing Manager Lisa Schönburg presented our entire range of products. A special highlight this year was the launch of our brand new stabilization platform for terrestrial and marine applications - the OSM 4000.
What does the device do?
SOMAGs Offshore Stabilization Mount 4000 stabilizes in real-time pitch and roll movements of ground and rail vehicles caused by uneven terrain. It also compensates the angular motions of boats, ships, Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs/ASVs) and buoys caused by waves.
What can be stabilized?
The OSM 4000 stabilizes an unprecedented payload of up to 160 kg. For example:
Why should I use stabilization?
The stabilization ensures perfectly aligned images, high quality mobile data capturing and it provides a stabilized field of view.
