Covid-19 update: We maintain our operations

Due to the increasing number of Covid-19 cases throughout Germany in the past weeks, we have reintroduced extensive hygiene measures in our company.

We take the situation very seriously and regularly follow the current developments. The health and safety of our employees is our top priority. To help flatten the curve, we have taken a number of measures to protect our employees. To avoid contact with other colleagues, we have reintroduced our shift system since the beginning of November. This means some colleagues work in the morning and some in the afternoon. Other colleagues have switched to home office. As part of the contact avoidance strategy, the access of external persons to the company is also reduced to a minimum.

We will continue to operate under the applicable guidelines and security measures. We have collected all important questions on this topic below and will update this page if the situation changes.

Does SOMAG continue to work as usual and can I still get in touch with the employees?

Yes. We are fully operational. We will continue to process all your sales and support inquiries. Our colleagues in home office also have access to their e-mails. If you cannot reach a colleague by phone due to his or her shift schedule, please write an e-mail. E-mails will be responded to as soon as possible after receipt. Do current developments have an influence on delivery times?

No. We currently work with our standard delivery times. Please help us to plan ahead as usual in order to receive your device at the desired time.


Do current developments have an influence on production?

Our production is currently continuing as usual. At the moment there are no production losses of our suppliers. The situation can change every day. We work closely with our suppliers and inform you in advance of any changes.


Do current developments have an influence on the delivery of my mount?

The forwarding agencies we work with can be affected by the corona crisis and the regulations of the respective countries. Under certain circumstances this can lead to delays in delivery.
